How did you get in to SUP? It was in 2003 i think , on the north shore of Oahu Hawaii, it was with my friend Vitor Marcal, we were the first two guys out there, it was funny!! People were looking at us like we were stupid or something,like always, i didn t care and i had fun! What was your biggest accomplishment in 2008? It was getting barrel at Teahupoo switched foot, doing an air, back into the wave, back into the barrel, came out and then jump into the boat!! that was insane!!.....hahahahahaha I don t know, my biggest accomplishment its to finish 08 to start 09! Who impresses you the most? Someone who is really good at what he does and stay humble! Where are you favorite spot for SUP? ...Somewhere over the.........re.........! What has so far been your most exiting moment with SUP? Going on a good size of waves and try to do some old school style longboarding on small waves What do you prefer, surfing solo or in group? It s always more fun with friends around. What other projects are you working on right now? Working on a car commercial for my sponsor Isuzu (tahiti) and working on some new designs for my pro model quiksilver boardshort and t shirt for summer 2010 What are your goals for 2009? Waiting for swells to score some good surf,sup,tow in,foilboarding,windsurfing ,etc...,working on the set of Point break 2 , IMAX movie as water patrol here in Tahiti and acting in movie " The keys of the Kingdom " WILL OUR ACTIONS ECHO ACROSS THE CENTURIES,WILL STRANGERS HEAR OUR NAMES LONG AFTER WE'RE GONE AND WONDER WHO WE WERE, HOW BRAVELY WE FOUGHT,HOW FIERCELY WE LOVED ? |
