How did you get in to SUP? Myself and Svien Rasmussen were introduced to SUP by Jeff Henderson from Hot Sail Maui. This was when Starboard was thinking to introduce SUPing to it's line. What was your biggest accomplishment in 2008? SUPing around Barbados in 16 hours 25 minutes. It's over 52 miles of paddling. It was a ral adventure...running out of drinks, pushing through a thunder storm, and have to guide my way through waves and reefs at night.....that was action!! Where are you favorite spot for SUP? It's Palour, Bathsheba Barbados. It gets big and perfect for SUPing. What has so far been your most exiting moment with SUP? Paddling around Barbados, I also exploded some of the outter Hawaii islands.....found some amazing beauty and waves. Again, I love going to Bathsheba, Barbados and riding the wave at Palours. It's amazing. The waves and the atmosphere....life upon earth!! What do you prefer, surfing solo or in group? I love the freedom and solo is give you this natural feeling. What other projects are you working on right now? I have my Waterman festivel in Barbados in 2009 in February and I am organizing a SUP race around Barbados. I will continue my Beach Culture world promoting beach culture and this life styel around the world. Also I will do a Caribbean adventure travel story......action and more action!! What are your goals for 2009? To be World Champion again ....2009!! Action!! |
