Last weekend, the weather was just perfect for a fun SUP 'walk on water' session
in Scheveningen. Glassy, quiet and sunny side up! The conditions were also perfect
to introduce my friends to their first SUP experience.
My friends Roos and Robin had bought their first SUP a little while ago. I call them
my 'foster parents', since they ALWAYS look after me when I am in town. It was fun
for me that I could share their first time on their SUP now I was with them. Both of
them picked up the sport like naturals and were showing smiles from ear to ear. We
paddled to the 'pier' and back. Roos sent me an email yesterday that I received in
Peru (yes, I am on an amazing trip right now!) She told me how FANTASTIC she is
feeling and how she found HER sport. Cruising flat water and taking waves… she is
doing it all and is hooked. I am stoked to pass on the joy through out my water
